This is a 28YBJ-48 Stepper Motor with Gear Reduction, so it has good torque for its size, but relatively slow motion. These motors/drivers are made by the millions for A/C units, fans, duct controls etc. which is why they are so inexpensive. Available in 5V.
Description
Stepper motors are DC motors that move in discrete steps. They have multiple coils that are organized in groups called “phases”. By energizing each phase in sequence, the motor will rotate, one step at a time.
